Collection: Street

Street photography felt like the perfect fit for Beirut. It captures just how strange, layered, and chaotic this city can be. What started as a spontaneous habit of taking photos from the car while commuting between Beirut and Bhamdoun, a charming village just 20 minutes away, soon turned into a deeper exploration. Through the lens, I began to notice how the city’s highways, built in the 1950s, had silently fractured Beirut over time, especially during the 15-year civil war. Once mixed neighborhoods slowly splintered into distinct, isolated bubbles, each with its own identity, energy, and contradictions.
